Barbara tries to kill the demon but she sees herself in the demon and ends up not killing the demon. In the demon temple, Vylk gives a piece of the promised pen to Emma for helping him. Vylk had ate the man who wanted him to give it to a Grace Field child to give them hope of getting out. When the part was connected, the pen displayed blueprints of the inside and outside of Grace Field houses, as well as how to make the medicine for the drugs that were used on Norman and his other drugged friends, and the way to the human world.
