Yelena reveals to Commander Pyxis that she had secretly met with Eren before his infiltration on Marley while elsewhere, Onyankopon tells Hange how Yelena was fiercely loyal to Zeke in Marley. Premier Zachary tells Mikasa and Armin that he suspects Eren of colluding with the volunteers and of being manipulated by Zeke. After they leave his office, a bomb kills Zachary and three other soldiers which stirs up protesters eager to fight for a New Eldian Empire. 

Meanwhile, Eren and his supporters in the Survey Corps escape from prison and he meets up with those involved in planting the bomb. The Military Police concede to the Survey Corps that their intentions were to take Eren's Founding Titan and refer to his supporters as the "Jaegerists". Since the number of Jaegerists and their identities are unknown, Pyxis declares that the government should make a deal with Eren using Zeke's location as a bargaining chip. Azumabito begs Mikasa to join Hizuru, but Mikasa refuses, citing her loyalty to the Eldian people on Paradis. Hange suspects that Yelena and the volunteers have been involved in Zeke’s ambitions on Paradis. The Braus family, along with Gabi and Falco, prepare to meet Nicolo for a private dinner. Meanwhile, Pieck has infiltrated Paradis.
